A Note from the Academic Reader

You finished the book, loved it, and then someone handed you the academic paper on it and now you are reading a different language. Yeah, we are fixing that here!

I am Tanisha Jain, and I analyse literature the way people dissect their favourite TV shows at 2AM, except with actual theory to back it up. English Honours from MIT World Peace University, Pune. Master's in Literature, currently in progress. UGC NET, in my sights. Literature Professor, the ENDGAME.

In 2026 I scored 217/300 in CUET PG on two months of prep supported by a crash course, because preparation with a strategy will always beat preparation with just panic. That energy is very much present in everything I do here.

I'm the one who has already read the syllabus, colour coded the notes, discovered which AI tools actually save time versus which ones waste it, and is now pulling everyone else up with her. Top of the class was not an accident and honestly the secrets are not even that secret, I just want to share them.

This space is where scholarly analysis meets your actual reading life. We take the books you love, the theories that explain them, and the study culture that surrounds literature, and we make it all click together.

No unnecessary jargon. Just literature, lived in.

P.S. I'd love if you could call me the "Mama of the Gen-Z readers!"

Literature is the question minus the answer.
~ Roland Barthes
